Opera Trial is out

Well, I awoke today to find the Wii Opera Trial ready for download. I love waking up to see that little blue bar shining at me. Feels like Christmas every time. At any rate, I downloaded it, and orb.com works... That's great... But I hate that bottom bar. I wish it went away.

Blue Bar

Hey, I just got my Wii, and for some reason I never have that blue bar shining when there is a new message, can you tell me if there is suppose to be a setting for that or something? Thanks.

looks like settings have been changed

If you look at the settings (somewhere where you setup your wireless net/connect24) there is a option to enable/disable the blue bar... check it, may be it has been disabled.

i dont remember the exact navigation path, will try to check on my system and let u know...

I took a look in the settings menu and under the connect32 there is a slot elumination and I set it to bring, I guess I will just have to wait until nintendo sends the next message I guess. Also, does anyone know how to send an email to you Wii, i read somewhere that might get the light to turn on. Also, when my unit is off, sometimes I have an orange dot and other times a red dot, are both the "standby" mode or just the orange one? Thanks.

The orange dot means that your wii connect 24 is online and working. The red dot means that your wii connect 24 is offline for some reason. Both of the dots also mean your wii as on standby. Hope i explained it good enough for you! If i didn't look in your wii operations manual(the white one) evrything should be in there.
