Site Subscriptions Are Up!

Site Subscriptions Are Up!

Okay, now here's something cool... If you're registered, you can use the subscriptions on the left. And here's how it works:

1. Visit a forum topic, blog, or anything else.
2. Click "Subscribe *" (where * refers to the blog, post, etc...) at the bottom.
3. When that page/blog/post is updated or commented upon, a link to it will be sent directly to your email address.

Some hints / tweaks / hacks:
1. If you want your wii to recieve mail when your subscriptions are updated, you can put in your email address as w4186939889544932@wii.com (my wii's email address) and add the email "xyber411@kitkat.dreamhost.com" (without the quotes) to your wii's address book so it knows you know me.

ahA!

Well, I just figured out why the site's not doing as well as other sites out there, and it all comes down to my own mind... See, I called the Wii Friend Codes Wii Addresses... I thought of them as Addresses because they facilitate emails, and such. I had forgotten that Nintendo calls them Friend Codes. I'm redoing a lot of the site now to accommodate this new thought. I just can't believe nobody pointed this out to me before. Everyone please edit whatever you can to change "Wii Address" to "Wii Friend Code".

I'll post something later on... PS. We now have over 300 Friend Codes in both the forums and the actual user database.

WiiChat

Just a quick FYI

After you register and login, the top ad goes away. I figured that those who have logins should be able to get rid of the top ad. The side one still stands for whomever, but it's way outa the way. I also have the donations button at the bottom, as per trix57's site suggestion. Maybe I'll let those who donate remove all the ads permanently, but I'm not at that point yet... still using a personal paypal and all. :P

You Guys Rock!!!

Wow yall, just wow... I'm loving what you people have made this place. I posted this site up the day after the Wii hit the shelves, and now it's got over 80 registered users and a ton more who wish to remain anonymous. I can never complain of those who wish to remain anonymous, and I applaud you all for continuing to visit and post... it's why I opened up the comments to begin with. :D
